Does Kevin Sorbo really need introducing? Let’s focus on the things he’s not as well known for to understand why we are excited to have him with us on The 1620 Experience.
Besides his successful career in entertainment, Kevin has always devoted a hearty portion of his time to causes he believes in. In 2005 he was named successor to Arnold Schwarzenegger as the national spokesperson for The Afterschool Alliance, a nonprofit working to ensure that all children have access to quality after school programs, and since ‘97 he has donated his time as the spokesperson for the nonprofit organization, A World Fit For Kids.
Kevin has generously given him time and image to the independent Christian film industry with movies like “Gods Not Dead,” which helped shaped the industry. He speaks uncensored about Hollywood’s ostracization of Christians and Conservatives. Most recently, he has been removed from Facebook for the fourth time.
Moving into producing and directing, he now creates film like “Let There Be Light” and “Miracle in East Texas.” He’s also involved in creating documentaries such as “Against the Tide” and Before the Wrath.”
He and his wife, Sam Sorbo, are outspoken advocates of the Christian faith, Christian values, and homeschool education. You can learn more about them at Sorbos.org.
